HYDRA, our governance token, will be used to vote on and govern replacement research funding proposals. HYDRA token holders, along with non-token DAO members, do not own rights to HydraDAO's IP or assets but can influence their commercialization and licensing through governance. Our Juicebox public fundraise was from Dec 16th 2024 - Jan 6th 2025:
To start, contributors received 10,000 HYDRA per ETH with 50% reserve rate (another 10,000 minted to treasury) - contributions dictated total supply.
After each week or each $1m, HYDRA got 10% more expensive with a total of 30% increase.
Total raised: $4.1m
Holders can vote to mint new tokens in the future if desired.
Earn HYDRA
Working group members can earn governance power in HydraDAO via HYDRA by contributing their time and effort in the DAO. This can include sourcing, evaluating and incubating replacement research projects, forming partnerships, social media/community management, and much more.
